This is hands down one of my favourite secret unreleased songs...aaaand you've definitely never heard me do anything like this before.

Random fact about my childhood: my big brother Jason fed me a pretty steady diet of punk music growing up....and I'm pretty sure it's where I got much of my irreverence (thank God).

I wrote this song with my friend Joshua "J-Lo" Lopez back in 2013 - Josh is the guy who played guitar on most of the "Everything is Expensive" album and he's also the one singing on the title song with me.

Anyhoo, Josh and I got together one summery day in LA and wrote and recorded this at his house in a few hours. I had been listening to Operator Please's "It's Just A Song About Ping Pong" obsessively on repeat (if you don't know this song go buy it now, it's amazing) and I wanted to do something that had that same type of energy.

Josh played all the instruments and came up with that bad ass guitar line in minutes and I'm pretty sure I did the vocal in one or two takes.

It came so easily to us that I suggested we start a little side project: cowrite more songs, make an ep, have an all girl band....I named my new alter ego "Lucy B Vicious"I imagined she wore jumpsuits and capes and luchador masks.

No one would know it was me. I remember having devised a title for the second song before even writing a note:"Everyone Here Can Suck My Dick" - I thought that would be the dopest song title for a woman to sing ever.

But life happens..... people get busy, priorities get set etc and we never saw it through. So, I've been sitting on this little gem for 6 years but I'm so stoked to share it with you now....and given the current situation it seemed like perfect timing.
